He made this drawing as a \u003cspan class=\"text-link\" onclick=\"javascript:link(84, 1070, event);\"\u003epreparatory study\u003c\/span\u003e for part of a painting, completed in 1493.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe \u003cspan class=\"text-link\" onclick=\"javascript:link(84, 650, event);\"\u003everso\u003c\/span\u003e, by contrast, is a fragmentary study related to a much later picture. This horizontal image shows the legs of a seated figure that have been delicately draped with cloth.
